| always remembered! |
|
| Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,I'm following the path God laid for me.I took his hand when I heard his call,I turned my back and left it all.I could not stay another day,To laugh, to love, to work, to play.Tasks left undone must stay that way,I've found that peace at the end of the day. If my parting has left a void,Then fill it with remembered joy.A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,Ah, yes, these things too I will miss.Be not burdened with times of sorrow,I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life's been full, I savored much,Good friends, good times, a loved one' touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.Lift up your heart and share with me,God wanted me now, He set me free. |

(pcumming1@comcast.net): |
My heart just aches. Michelle was such a wonderful woman, who was taken way too soon. She and I got to know eachother through daycare drop-offs/pick-ups the past year+. I remember the first day she dropped Lauren off at the Children's Center last year and cried as she walked out the door... saying "you probably think I'm a nut, I don't even know you and I'm here I am crying to you..." she'd been home with Lauren until then and went on to say how hard it was going to be to leave her everyday. I assured her we've all been there and her emotions were completely normal. Our friendship began that day. Seeing eachother everyday at school; playdates with our daughters; phone calls apologizing that one bite the other or stepped on her hand intentionally at school... we shared many laughs. It was hard not to smile or laugh with Michelle, she just had that special gift of spreading her happiness.
My deepest sympathy goes out to the Hartnett and Worthy families.

To the Hartnett and Worthy Families:
Love and prayers to you all as you deal with this devastating loss that hurts us all. I met "Shelly" when we both taught at the King Middle School in Boston. She was a bright light in every way--smart, optimistic, strong, funny. I was older, but she definitely mentored ME a lot on the tough days! When I had my second baby, a girl, Shelly was an obvious choice to be her Godmother. I knew if anything ever happened to me, Shelly would make sure that my daughter would know about me--mostly the good stuff! Although I became an at-home mom for awhile, and we didn't see each other at work everyday, Shelly and I managed to stay in touch. I was honored to be included in the celebration of Shell and Tim's marriage and to be around as they welcomed "Baby Timmy" into the world. I cared for Timmy when Michelle returned to Chickering after maternity leave to finish out the school year in her new "dream job." She missed Timmy so much on those work days, but she was so committed to all her "kids" at school too. Timmy was an angel, and my children, now 9 and 11, still call him "Baby Timmy." We all loved "Big Tim" too and remember him for his humor and carefree attitude toward life. I was excited to know that Shelly added a beautiful baby girl to her family (and that she got to use the name "Lauren," which she already had picked out when I met her in the late 90's!) I was fortunate to see Michelle and the kids a few times during Lauren's first year, but then life--work, family, kids, etc.--got in the way of our having regular contact. I was JUST thinking about inviting them all over to our home to reconnect. So sad that will never happen. Please know that we'll do anything we can to support you all in the days to come. And remember to do what Tim and Michelle did so well...laugh out loud. |

We were so shocked and saddened to hear the tragic news about Michelle and Tim. They were such wonderful, involved parents. I would always see Tim coaching Timmy's teams, and Michelle and I would always have a good chat and laugh as we watched our boys play on their soccer team together. She was so friendly and easy to talk to and always made me smile.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle and Tim's families and especially Timmy and Lauren. Please know we are thinking of you all during this most difficult time. |

| I taught in Dover and was lucky enough to work with Michelle. She was a gifted educator, always putting the needs of her students first and foremost. She was a shining example of a dedicated teacher who loved her job and who positively impacted both students and fellow teachers. Michelle was well-liked; she was able to see both sides of every issue and find the common ground that brought both sides together. She loved tutoring, helping kids and she was the proudest of mothers. It was always a pleasure to see Michelle coming down the hallway. You’d hear her laugh before you saw her. Her smile lit up her entire face and you felt good when you talked with her. She was always happy, upbeat, kind and caring. Everyone loved her. The enthusiasm she brought to Dover, her dedication to the students and her unerring ability to get the job done and done well, will always be remembered. I feel honored to have taught with her. |

To the Hartnett and Worthy families - hundreds of us in Medfield have been touched by Tim and Michelle, Timmy and Lauren. You have only to say the word and we are here for you and the kids, in any way needed large or small, now or in the future.
Timmy and Lauren - your loss is greatest of all. While these dark days weigh heavily upon us, I see a ray of light in this: that we are fortunate to have known your mom and dad and we bear witness to their enormous gifts of generosity, grace, laughter, love, and friendship. May many rays of light shine upon you and your family again.

| Dear Worthy & Hartnett family members - I am so sorry for your tragic loss. I only new Tim for about a year but sitting next to him at work and working with him I felt I knew him for life. He truly made the work place a more enjoyable place. I am going to miss his laughter, his Wareham and Tabor Academy stories, his passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers and LA Lakers. I'll miss his Northeastern baseball and football stories as well. He spoke so highly of his family - his late mom and dad, his brother his children and his wife. I'll miss Timmy Jr coming into work.
